In January 2020, Jaclyn Roberson and Laura Duran cemented their partnership to establish Roberson Duran Law, PLLC. Protecting families and properties is foundational to the firm’s success, specifically managing divorce, child support, child custody, adoption, and surrogacy. Jaclyn also practices estate planning, probate, and guardianship.

Before teaming up with Laura Duran, Jaclyn founded the Law Office of Jaclyn Y. Roberson, PLLC in March 2006 to concentrate on family law, especially child abuse cases involving families and government entities such as Child Protective Services.

Jaclyn’s passion for serving the San Antonio community is evidenced by her career start at the San Antonio Community Law Center. She represented clients at every stage of family law, including divorce, child support, child custody cases, and complex probate matters.

In February 2008, Jaclyn took a sabbatical from her law practice to join the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office to represent the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in child abuse and neglect cases. These experiences have given her career breadth and afforded a diverse perspective on the needs of families throughout Texas.

Jaclyn’s practice does not discriminate against clients based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion, nor does she support discrimination against her clients. Every case has unique and special circumstances, and Jaclyn and the team will take a non-judgmental approach to the unique facts of the cases assigned. Additionally, Roberson Duran Law, PLLC takes the attorney-client privilege seriously and ensures that the office protects confidential information at all advocacy phases.

A San Antonio native, Jaclyn Roberson is a William H. Taft High School graduate. She matriculated to the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education and received a law degree from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
